I think one of the most beautiful pieces of clothing I have in my wardrobe is this Gucci dress. As mentioned before, I don’t spend too much money on clothing. I know this sounds silly, because my work evolves around clothing, but since my wardrobe is on such high rotation, I have to limit it – or I simply won’t be able to afford it. But in order to keep inspiring you, I have to refresh it all the time, which makes me go to favorite high street stores like Zara and H&M. This dress though, which came to me last NYFW, is the perfect example of the above. It’s one of those pieces I can only wear every now and then because it’s quite a statement piece. Though it’s too pretty to not wear it enough…
This is most likely an “either you love them or hate them” story, and even tough I never imagined myself wearing a shoe anywhere near the one I’m wearing here, I must admit – aha I really do – I truly love them. Of course the Gucci horse-bit and the fuzzy inside is what makes this shoes interesting – compared to the not so interesting and rather hospital-feel clogs we all know – but the comfort is just beyond…
In honor of Chanel’s Métiers d’Art 2016 Collection (this is in other words their “Pre-Fall” Collection) that was shown yesterday in the legendary Cinecittà’s Studio 5 in Rome, where Parisian streets – including a Metro entrance, a boulangerie, and all in black and white – were build, I’m wearing an everything but black and white look, but with a new pearl in my wardrobe… This bold and beautiful baby blue.
As a devoted online shopper, it’s always an exciting moment when one of your favorite designers starts selling online. Especially when this means shoes and bags, as this is mostly where I spend my designer-budget. Ready-to-Wear is a dream, but with the speed clothes rotate and get residue in my wardrobe, it would be a huge waste of money… Well not really… Let’s say I don’t have that money, yet.
From the looks of my Instagram you must have noticed I’ve changed New York for some place up in the mountains. You are so right! Last weekend I flew to London from where I joined the Jimmy Choo team for a photo shoot in the mountains of Zermatt…
