New York’s been cooling down the past few days, and that means new outfit-opportunities! I’ve been waiting to wear this cape for weeks, not did I ever imagined wearing it during New York Fashion Week though! Because I’ve vivid memories of my first season in New York, September 2014, when it was so warm that sweat literally dripped of my forehead… I’m not kidding… it was that warm.

With New York Fashion Week kicking off a day earlier than last season, and me not being entirely ready for it all to start, my pre-day 1 look resulted in this colorful mix of casual and chic. I’m totally obsessing over this mix of funny prints, the black and white, and the brights of the sweater. Later that day I switched my – not visible in the photo – green Valentino tango shoes for the cutest new season, but so vintage looking, Chanel pumps and a white lace shirt. Right off the plane from New York, straight to Elie Saab Haute Couture Fall 2015 in Paris. This clearly explains my sleepy head, hence the beautifully distracting bright yellow Chloe dress. I wish Paris’ heat wave was still going on that day, as I prepared to go all-yellow, but the denim jacket was a necessity, it was cold. The show? More about that later…
