A fashion week look I’ve been dying to share on my blog. Not one from New York, but one from Haute Couture Spring 16 a few weeks back, in Paris! Just after the Chanel Spring 16 Couture show, wearing the most beautiful classic Chanel jacket, and super funky vintage Chanel palm earrings.
It might not be the obvious thing to do, when it comes to sharing Couture images, but by extracting the colors from the images, I came to realize that I looked much more at the details of the designs than I did when they were in full-color. Needless the say, one of the beautiful things of such an amazing Couture collection is in fact the choice of colors, it creates a certain cohesion, but for once I just took another road and shared almost every single photo I took, in black and white. Now come closer to your screen and take a look at those incredible details that makes a Couture collection differ from RTW on every single level.
I’m sorry I can’t be with the Ganni team tonight to watch the FW16 show, but I will be watching it live on their website: www.ganni.com! Make sure to join me and tune in at 9PM CET.
Last September a dream came true, I went to the Chanel SS16 RTW show. Only a few months later, a dream I never even dreamed of to become true, came true too: I was invited to attend the Chanel Spring 16 Couture show in Paris!! Needless to say, I was excited beyond anything!
Let’s start with saying that I love winter in New York, and then I’m talking about when winter really hits, but it’s still sunny. Luckily New York winters are quite sunny, with the exception of some pretty intense snow storms, occasional frost bite alerts, and spending weekends in because there’s no way you can go out… But a sunny winter I can do…
